ELIGIBILITY:
The candidate should have passed the HSC (Std XII) examination of Madhya Pradesh State Board of Secondary & Higher Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50 % marks in PCM and ranking obtained in MP- PET 2010 for Engineering/ Technology degree courses conducted by VYAPAM for the academic year 2010-2011.
The admission procedure is carried out as per the norms laid down by DTE(BHOPAL), Madhya Pradesh.


DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Department is well established with all the infrastructural facilities conducive for the course. The department is having well qualified and experienced staff in Civil Engineering. The working environment gives a professional edge to compete with the present scenario as Civil Engineering is one of the emerging career options. The final year students are required to carry out projects, which require an in-depth study in a particular topic that is chosen by each of them. These projects are design, construction, fabrication, field study, experimentation, analytical and case study oriented. Quite a few projects are industry sponsored.



DEPT. OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Computer engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering owns a laboratory with round the clock internet facility. It has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The computer lab is fully equipped with all the advanced software and languages as per curriculum requirement. The Department shall regularly arrange seminars, workshops from industry experts for students as well as for staff and also organize industrial tours for helping the students to become efficient engineers.

BE Computer Engineering is a four year course of eight semesters. The project work and seminar presentations by the final year students are based on the latest aspects of Computer Engineering.



DEPT. OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The department owns a Laboratory that has the latest equipments and rigorous practical programme. The course content consists of chopper circuits, computer networks, VLSI Design and HVDC Transmission system. The students opting for this branch can go for IT, non-IT as well as for public sectors. We have well equipped labs viz, Electrical machines, Power Electronics & Drives, Power System & High Voltage, Measurement & Instrumentation, Network & Control Engineering., Microprocessor & Embedded System which have latest sophisticated equipments. It also provides services to the students of Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication Departments. In addition, the department provides services to the Industries & public by way of consultancy & testing.



DEPT. OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
The Electronics & Communication Department has well-equipped laboratories, well qualified and experienced staff with latest model of CRO & Electronic equipments to give the required competence and expertise to deal with the current scenario. The focus in the study programme is on understanding electronic networks and devices, electromagnetic field theory, computer fundamentals, as also their protection, and communication and control systems. An electronics engineer can be employed in the public and private sector industries and organizations such as the Indian Telephone Industries, MTNL, National Physical Laboratories, AIR, Civil aviation, and the police wireless departments. Electronics engineers are also absorbed into the entertainment transmission industry, research establishments, and defense. They can also take up teaching and research in one of the many engineering colleges in India or abroad.
