St. Aloysius Institute of Technology, a division of St Aloysius College, Jabalpur which is the pioneer educational institution in the town as well as the state is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE),MP and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyala, Bhopal. St. Aloysius College was founded in 1951 while St. Aloysius Institute of Technology came into existence in year 2009. The College is named after St. Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron Saint of the college, who harbored a burning desire to serve God and his fellowmen It is a Christian College owned and established by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, which belongs to the minority community of Catholics and is administered by the said Diocese through the St. Aloysius College Society.
